Minimum Wage and a Political Brain Fart:
If you haven't heard, included in the recent insanity of Congress some are considering rolling back the minimum wage because they say it's too hard on small businesses.
Again, these morons can't do simply math. The more income a person makes, the more tax they pay.
The argument is that teens can't get part time jobs, well hello, who the Hell cares?
Even on minimum wage it's less than $400.00 per week, and does anyone think an adult living on their own or raising a family can live on that? If you do you need to run for Congress, you'll fit right in!

The Insanity of it All:
If you, as a person, would do any of the following, you would be arrested:
1) - Scratch the paint on vehicle.
2) - Pee on someone's door.
3) - Damage a tree or shrub, even kill it.
4) - Crap on your neighbor's lawn.
5) - Dig up someone's garden.
6) - Wake your neighbor at the wee hours of the morning making hideous noises.
Well, here's a wake-up call for the idiot politicians and stinking left wing animal rights nuts ....
A CAT can do all these things, and if you harm it, you are the one that goes to jail.

Afghanistan is another Vietnam:
Many of you are not old enough to remember the Vietnam War, but I was there. It was started by two democrats, Jack Kennedy (JFK) and Lyndon Johnson (LBJ). This war was out of control with hundreds of thousands of young men being drafted. Yes, the USA had a draft back then. Richard Nixon inherited the war, but did one thing correct, he realized the war could not be won on the ground. So he began to bomb North Vietnam. All major ports, railroads, munition factories, roads, etc. He also mined some harbors to stop foreign ships from delivering supplies. This worked until political pressure ended the war, which lasted almost 10-years.
As a result the democrats became stronger, because they were the left wing liberals who didn't want the war and blamed the Republicans for creating it, although it was clearly started by the Democrats. Essential the bill of goods sold to the American people was we must stop communist aggression before it arrives here in America and we are fighting them in our own streets.
This was again sold to us about Iraq and Afghanistan but called the war on terrorism. One thing we always here is there's a collation helping us. That is total bunk. In Vietnam less than one percent of forces were non-American.
The same in Iraq and Afghanistan. If we have 200,00 troops and some country sends 150 that's not a coalition, unlike what George Bush told us.
Afghanistan cannot be won. Many have tried. Before us was a whole host including the British and the Russians. The Soviet Union was in Afghanistan nearly 10-years, there Vietnam. Several Russian generals who fought in Afghanistan advised Bush / Cheney the war could not be won on the ground. NATO commanders who are there have said the same thing and reported back to their respective governments making it near impossible for America to get participation.
The bottom line is we need to do one of two things, bomb the hell out of them including the tribal strongholds on the Pakistan border with Afghanistan or get out. American military commanders are infantry based and always think superior forces on the ground will win.
The argument is still being made that if we don't fight the Taliban / al-Qaeda in Afghanistan we will be dealing with them here in America on our own streets.
If we would stop this baby sitting attitude about fairness then we could end this is a few months. There should be no rules of engagement, no fairness in war. General George Patton said it the best: kill them before they kill you, make their wives widows and their children orphans.
I have been to war, and I'll tell you these politicians coupled with desk jockey jackasses in the Pentagon will continue to get Americans killed and prolong this war.
We need to eliminate the the rule on bombing soft targets. In fact get rid of all rules of engagement and kill the worthless shits. These Muslims know we wont bomb or target Mosques, Schools, and Hospitals so they store their arms and explosives under them. Hell in Iraq we have found bomb making factories under soft targets. I say we either bomb everything and level it to the sand or get out and leave the assholes to kill one another.

AARP Sucks
AARP Sucks:
I am a senior on Social Security, and I have never belonged to nor would I ever waste my damn money on AARP - American Association of Retired People.
I cannot believe retired people are conned into joining this group of useless Liberals who have never done anything for retired people.
Lets look at the facts, starting with latest fiasco, their support of Obama, Pelosi, and Reid healthcare plan for America:
1) AARP supported this plan because it's good for them. It will bring in CASH Dollars by forcing every American at any age to purchase health insurance. They are in bed with United Healthcare.
2) United Healthcare sucks. They are useless I had them for one year and their coverage is terrible,
3) AARP have allowed Medicare and Medicaid to erode. Quality and service along with coverage has decreased while cost has risen.
4) AARP has allowed every piece of shit who should never get Social Security get it, because it's a path to welfare for many and welfare is a bad name to be bandit about.
5) Social Security retirement income has not keep up with inflation. AARP has done little to get seniors the cost of living they need and deserve.
6) They support the AMA – American Medical Association and most doctors aren't even members.
7) They donate large sums of money to politicians especially democrats. If they are going to donate money, giving it to some asshole Congressman is a waste of funds. Senators control everything and there are less of them.
8) Now for the worst part, if you look at AARP the people on salary are hired political guns. There are NO seniors on the payroll. How can you represent seniors when AARP isn't even staffed and run by seniors?
Do yourselves a favor, drop out of AARP, they are con artist and scum bags.

Obama Care Part 3, it's not for me:
An ABC, Liberal Reporter recently asked President Obama if the Healthcare Bill passes and becomes law, will he and his family along with Congress agree to use it?
Obama avoided the question.
But the U.S. Congress has exempted themselves, their families, people who work for the congressional office, the President, and all cabinet ministers. So if it's so friggin good for America, why the hell aren't they using it?
Wake up you sheeple, the monkeys in Washington DC are lose and running amuck with our money!

The FBI Failed America Again:
I am mad as hell, come on get mad with me.....
A friend of mine in the know, but retired like me, said the other day, “Do you know what the FBI is referred to around the world by both our enemies and our so-called friends?” “Well no”, I replied.
He smiled, and said, “The Federal Bureau of Idiots.”
Although the FBI's forensic and science labs are revered by most, the agency as a whole is filled with Politically Correct and Inept Naive Fools.
Lets look at the facts:
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has failed America on three very significant events that we know of:
The first was the World Trade Center bombing in 1993, radical Muslims here in America.
The second was 911, the final destruction of both World Trade Center Towers on September 11, 2001, radical Muslims here in America.
Now, Fort Hood Texas Army Base with this ass-clown, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, radical Muslims here in America.
Does anyone see a pattern here?
What's even worse after 911, Congress created Homeland Security, which was suppose to coordinate all the law enforcement and intelligence communities so that another 911 never occurred. This agency is being run by Janet Napolitano, former Governor of Arizona, and a staunch open border policy and pro illegal immigrant supporter. If you live in Arizona you are aware the borders here are worse now than they have ever been.
So where was the coordination, why do we have these idiot agencies that cost taxpayers billions of dollars if they keep their heads in the sand and pretend shit isn't going to happen if we talk nice to our enemies? But then of course we have a Muslim for President.
America, only a total fool would think another 911, but worse, isn't coming soon.
If you don't own a gun, go buy one, it's the only thing anymore you can count on.

Obama Care Part 2, it's not for me:
Government intervention into our most precious right, the right to life, the right to control our own destiny. Who gives the government the right to interfere with this and other basic human rights that so many Americans have died for to preserve in this country?
I sympathize with those who have lost their jobs or work for employers who do not give healthcare, and yes I do believe that something should be done, but not on a Trillion Dollar Spending Spree that will destroy the total U.S. economy.
The healthcare system when everything is encompassed into that broad definition is suppose to make up one sixth (1/6) of The United States Gross Domestic Economy and Spending. Simply put by allowing the government to interfere is a socialist ploy to control the economy and bring total economic collapse instituting all out socialism, which spells the Soviet Union, which I fought to prevent. Mr, Obama you are not my President and Nancy Pelosi you communist insane twit along with that babbling idiot Harry Reid will create chaos never known in this country before.
Liberals in their narrow minded stupor they call logic always deals with the minority. The majority is suppose to rule but for the last 50 years or so everything under the sun in a form of legislation has been geared by both political parties to favor the minority or a narrow group of people.

The – I am Sorry, I apologize – Blah Blah Speech
In today's so-called politically correct environment someone some where is always demanding an apology.
This is such total nonsense.
In reality, and most often, people say what they mean.
They may regret it later, but having some total dumb-ass politician or news media personality demand an apology from someone is absurd.
And, if anyone thinks the person apologizing means it, then education in America has truly sunken to the bottom of the idiot pile.
An example of this is that late night TV show host, David Letterman.
What should happen is his wife sues him for everything he owns and throws his useless ass into the street. He didn't have just one affair, which might be forgiven, but he did this with many women and often.

One Reason Restaurants Fail:
My wife and I were visiting some friends on the east side of town on Thursday, one of them is ill, so we just stopped by for a quick visit.
Instead of driving all the way back to our part of town, it was 5:00pm, to get dinner, we decided to stop at a local Mexican restaurant, they had a big banner outside that said lunch $4.99. Now I realize it's dinner time and restaurants charge more for dinner than lunch, although I don't understand why they do this Monday through Thursday.
We figured it would be about $2.00 more for the same dish. Wrong, it was twice the cost. There was no one in the restaurant eating, the only people there were the workers.
So we left and went to Denny's just down the street.
Now common sense would tell these people to either 1) Feed us at the lunch price and get some business, or 2) Have realistic dinner prices that coincide with a lunch price especially since you got a huge banner across the entire store front. Charging twice as much for dinner as lunch just pisses me off, and it's bad business. They will fail and probably never know why. The man could not understand why we left.
By the way, Denny's was cheaper than the Mexican restaurant lunch price. It's Mexican Food, it's plentiful here n Arizona, and it costs next to nothing to make, I know we make it at home.
P.S. - We are both retired and on a fixed income so money is important, not tight, but cautious spending is still a must!

Obama Care Part 1, Why Congress will eventually pass this bill:
My neighbor and I were talking about Obama's Healthcare Plan, we both oppose it, but as Seniors we realize it will become law. We as a nation continue to brings things upon ourselves both as individuals and the system that enslaves us all. In this case, Healthcare.
Let me share a simple story of how screwed up the current healthcare system is.
My friend needs to see a cardiologist. His doctor says he had a minor stroke. His doctor is in with a group of other doctors and run by a group of administrators. His doctor tells him he needs to see this cardiologist soon as possible and that he will arrange an appointment. About 4 days go by and no phone call, so he calls his doctor's office to be told by the admin people they don't male appointments they wanted him to make his own.
Does anyone see the problem?
If your primary care physician allows a bunch of administrative people to make decisions on his behalf affecting you, this is why we have lawyers because it's a bad thing.
A call to a cardiologist from your primary care physician will get you an appointment pretty fast, especially when he says, this patient has had a minor stroke and another is probably imminent.
If you call to make your own appointment you will wait forever. So my friend called another doctor he found and his earliest appointment, even after informing the scheduling staff that he had a minor stoke, will take 6-weeks. He could be dead in six weeks.
The whole medical system, like the justice system is broken in this country.
What we need is a simple approach.
Patient Bill of Rights plus the ability to select any insurer from anywhere for our coverage just like we do with auto and home insurance.
But Obama knows this. His plan is to force all of us to go way beyond what is really needed and jam down our throats big government healthcare.
Hospitals, doctors, administrators, insurance companies, employers, and patients only have themselves to blame for all this!

Using Corporate Chains versus Using a Local Company:
Home Team Pest Control.....
I was for years a user of Home Pest Control, owned by Centex Home Builders, for my insect control treatments.
They have gone through many changes over the years.
They charge $99.00 but only service you once every 3-months. They claim to be a full service company, but on more than one occasion, I have found this to be false.
For example they do not treat for snails.
They don't treat insects that infect trees.
So after a recent confrontation with these idiots, I fired there useless butts when they refused to treat two of my trees that where infected with an insect problem. I spoke to the office manager and he gave me the most lame set of excuses imaginable.
So in my frustration, after paying these assholes $99.00 I went to Home Depot; bought an all purpose but spray that attaches to your garden hose, along with googles, filter mask, and gloves. This cost me $45.00.
I then sprayed everything myself. It's been two weeks and I don't have one damn insect or bug.
I also proceeded to call several local insect control companies who informed me that they charge around $33.00 per treatment. Some spray monthly, some only when you call, none have a contract requirement for service. If you notice the price - $33.00 per month or treatment, while Centex Home Team is $99.00 per treatment but once every 3-moths – does that spell rip off to you?
When I complained to Home Team that their guy didn't spray or treat what I needed all I got was a bunch of lame excuses. I informed them that there are dozens of people out there just waiting to replace their sorry asses and provide me a service. There response was get one of them, so I am and I did.
The proof in this story is that national companies exist for profit not for service. When you can use a local company for your needs, especially anything in the service business.

Just when you think....
TV cannot get any worse, the idiots at these networks surprise you.
Last Thursday I wanted to watch the rerun of Fringe on Fox. As I started to watch the episode, on the screen where two pop-up Twitter page post from nitwits making comments about the series and episode.
Look TV creators, you have taken moron to a new level. No one wants to see this.
When you have a large screen TV like I do this especially enhances the size of this unwanted nonsense that can only be describe as utter bullshit.
Thank God for Hulu.
I shut the TV off, went to my computer and watched the A-Team.

Tort Reform:
This is a real hot issue with the so-called Obama-care. Here is my take on 'Tort' reform, i.e. limiting the scope and money for lawyers in malpractice medical lawsuits .....
First the damn Trial Lawyers lobbyist group should be taken out and executed, they are a waste of human skin.
Saying that, lets look at the facts.
Fact 1 – Unnecessary lawsuits cause a serious rise in healthcare. Stupid legal actions should be eliminated in all cases and types of lawsuits. Lawyers, often referred to as ambulance chasers should have their licenses revoked.
Fact 2 – Only U.S. Citizens should be allowed to bring any civil action.
Fact 3 – Doctors are equally to blame. I know you're thinking WTF is this guy saying? When you are young your interaction with doctors for the most part is limited. However, as you start getting older this interaction becomes more frequent and regular. There is nothing worse than going to some damn doctor who constantly wants to send you for all kinds of test, and to other doctors. This is unnecessary healthcare and a cost burden. I frankly just tell my doctor you went to medical school and got a license now use it.
Fact 4 – If you have ever been hospitalized, which I have on several occasions, you get a rude awakening. First if I am at the ER all I want to see is an ER doctor, and I want him/her to contact my personal primary care physician (who knows me best). I don't want a bunch of idiot doctors on the hospital payroll coming into my room asking all kinds of questions. This is a gimmick by the hospital to increase your cost. So be advised hospitals are a big cost factor for unnecessary healthcare.
Fact 5 – Arrogant doctors who don't listen to their patients. These idiots who are bent on their way and not listening to you are a large contributing factor to rising healthcare and why lawyers have grounds for lawsuits. These doctors are everywhere. I suggest finding one who tailors their need to you.
Fact 6 – Lack of communication and poor record keeping by the medical profession. If you are seeing more than one doctor, insist that they communicate with one another. The biggest problem is that one doctor may prescribe a medication while another gives you something different for another ailment. ALL medications have side effects, so limit what you take. But what's worse is many prescriptions wont or do not interact with other forms of medication. This can cause real problems even death! Make sure your primary care physician has a complete copy of all your medical records including a copy of your Living Will if you have one.
Finally, I strongly suggest you keep a copy of all your medical history.

Getting the Finger
So my wife and I are out early this morning on our way over to some friends for breakfast. I'm driving along in the left hand lane because I am going to turn in about two blocks. This is a divided major street artery with 3-lanes on each side. It just starts to drizzle rain. There's a young woman walking on the side walk and she's giving everyone the finger as they pass her.
If she went out in the rain without an umbrella or at least a hat who's fault is that?
And, lady if you want someone to offer you a ride, no one is going to stop with that attitude.
Stupid is that stupid does, and the world is just overrun with these damn dumb ass people.

Retail Shopping:
Today I would like to share a consumer event that impacted me.
Lets get real, in today's economic climate there should be a ZERO tolerance by employers for workers who just can't seem to cater to their customers.
There are plenty of people in America who are looking for a job and need one!
As an example, I was at my local grocery store, Fry's Market, they all know me, I am in there 5 out of 7 days every week.
I am at the self check-out line, so, I have a coupon issued by Fry's Grocery Store Chain. I call the girl after I scan my item. She says, she can't help until I am finished doing all my items, keep in mind she is holding a hand held scanner. So when I am done she punches in the coupon numbers, now my credit card won't work and let me check-out, she has screwed up the system. So now I am getting ticked-off because I can't check out. I say to her, see if you had scanned it as we were going along I'd be out of here by now. She gives me attitude, as I am doing my job, polite for I'll do it my way! So I inform her, no your job is to make me happy, I am the customer. Now we're starting to get into it and everyone is looking. So the day manager comes over and apologizes to me.
I said thank you and left.
But in reality, why apologize, you can train a monkey to do this.
Companies have an attitude in the United States, because idiots in the government keep bailing them out.

Schools in America versus Lawyers
I posted earlier about our public education system being broken in maintaining modern day up to-date teachings.
Now I would like to address a serious issue.
One reason we have problems getting good teachers in America is because of 'Lawyers.'
Teachers should not have to go to work and worry whether or not so scum bag bottom feeder ambulance chasing money hungry lawyer is going to sue them because their child or the child's stupid parents are unhappy.
People if you are unhappy, you have one of three choices....
1. Get out of America and take those lawyers with you.
2. Shut the hell up, and become a real parent. Institute some discipline, school is not a place for fashion and political correctness.
3. Put your child in a private school or home school them, the rest of us want out children to learn!

America's Got Talent, Reality TV
Most of these so-called Reality TV shows are annoying. When you think they couldn't come up with another stupid idea, they amaze you and take stupidity to a new level.
I only watch one of these type shows, America's Got Talent, and that for most part is not produced very well, but then TV Show Prime Time selection is poor at best.
My biggest gripe about this show is the fact that you have two judges that aren't even American selecting so called wannabe American talent (and some of them I would question whether they are here legally). You don't see Britain's Got Talent with any American judges.
What the hell has this country come to when even our entertainment industry allows foreigners to tell America what we want, and what we think is good or bad?

Consumer Fraud by The Media:
When you're laying around with nothing to do but watch TV, some light bulbs come on. I noticed the following:
In searching the same 40 channels over several days, they all advertised at one time. This is because Congress and a corrupt FCC allow media moguls to buy up all the TV stations in America. Then they get together and decide what we are going to watch, and when including advertisements. The problem I have is that when they all show the ads at the same time channel surfing becomes a mute point. I realize this is the point of their control and making money, but if just half the TV stations were not syndicated or owned by Media Mogul Giants programming would be more competitive and better.
Adding to the fact that if you are old enough you can remember when cable was first introduced, they promised Congress that the American public would get 400 free channels of viewing. I don't know of any cable or satellite company that offers 400 channels that are free, and I am not counting stupid programming channels playing music. I mean real TV Station Channels.
As a point of reference, there are currently over 400 TV channels licensed in the USA by the FCC. So, why don't the cable companies offer them.
Another interesting point of course is COST.
If cable companies were forced to offer all local programming channels free and any other channels for just one dollar ($1.00) per channel they would have a larger selection or at least bundle them in better viewing arrangements at a lower cost.

Why aren't celebrities adopting U.S. kids?
Pop star Madonna is back in the news; this time, trying to adopt another black child from an African nation, it would be her second child.
It seems that anytime we hear about celebrities like Madonna adopting, the children are from another country. I'm not at all opposed to children being adopted from Africa, China or any other country, but it does raise the question: What's wrong with adopting American children?
Now I'm not against anyone providing a secure, loving home for a child, but it seems to me that these stories often reinforce a growing public image of adoption for many Americans: that of a rich, famous individual going to a developing country to adopt a child.
According to various adoption and governmental agencies, more than 500,000 American children are under foster care, and many of them are waiting for adoption. From coast to coast, babies to toddlers to teens are desperately looking for a home where they can be loved, nurtured and provided for.
Now, it would be easy to blast these celebrities by saying it's the hip thing to walk around with an international child, but truth be told, we've got a serious adoption problem in this country.
Single mothers have a difficult time adopting a child and let's not even talk about the red tape and bureaucracy!
American parents are made to jump through enormous hoops, and the process takes years, instead of months. And all too often, single people and married couples simply grow disenchanted with the process in America.
If you think it should be easier to adopt American children, demand that your local, state and federal election officials clear the pathway to make the process easier. And let's have more consistency. Having 50 different states set their own policy, is frankly, nonsense. With so many rules, no wonder folks throw their hands up and move on.
The goal of adoption is to put children in loving homes and not have them be the responsibility of the state. Making it harder to adopt affects you in your pocketbook because taxpayer money is spent to care for the children. So changing the laws not only helps the child, but also is fiscally prudent.
In Arizona I know several people who all ready have children of their own and wanted to do a good thing by adding a needed child to their family. The State of Arizona requires an extensive background of the parents, they want you to attend classes on how to raise a child (WTF is that?), and get on a waiting list.
They have even invaded the private sector such as churches and make them use the State's code of adoption policies.
Frankly, who the hell has the time, money, patience, and effort to go through this bullshit created by totally useless Liberal Bureaucrats?
I wouldn't do it.
Just pay the $15,000.00 and get a child from China.
It takes about 3-months.

Fifty Cents on a Dollar, OMG, are we insane or what?
In case you been living in a basement with no radio or TV, it shouldn't come as a surprise that we are now paying almost fifty cents on a dollar in interest for every dollar we borrow.
What's worse, every dollar President Obama spends is borrowed, so when you here all those TRILLIONS of Dollars that we are spending don't forget you have to pay for it some day, and Americans actually only receive half the money Congress approves, but individual taxpayers still have to pay the total sum back.
Now wake up, it's time to STOP the spending, Impeach this asshole Barack Hussein Obama, and elect all new politicians, neither party is any good!

You hair grows out of your nose faster than it does on your head.

You seem to put life more in perspective.

Propping Up The World Bank and the IMF:
Who cares if the World Bank needs another 50 Billion Dollars or the IMF needs 750 Billion?
America whenever you hear or see any of these organizations: The United Nations, International Monetary Fund (IMF), the G-20, and the World Trade Organization (WTO), and you hear funds are needed, that means these leeches want the U.S. Government to anti up the money, and who pays for this shit, the American Taxpayer, that's who.
I don't ever remember any person who is NOT a U.S. Citizen voting for any public elected official in the United States. So why do American politicians jump every time one of these organizations demand more money?

Children and the way they dress:
If your child doesn't want to be called a slut then don't dress her like a hooker. The same goes for boys who have their jeans hanging down so their butt crack shows.
Children nowadays rule their parents, and what they need is serious guidance and discipline.

Wal-Mart versus Prescription Drug Cost:
Wal-Mart offers generic brand prescription drugs to people who have no health insurance at a cost of 4.00 per prescription, I applaud Wal-Mart for this.
However, if you go to Wal-Mart with Health Insurance like mine where the co-payment is $10.00 on that same drug, they charge you $10.00, so WTF is that all about?
So now I call Wal-Mart and if the drug is offered in generic, which I always tell the doctor to write, then I go to Wal-Mart with my prescription and say I don't have insurance and just pay the $4.00.
If a prescription is not covered under Wal-Mart's generic list, then I go to another pharmacy such as Walgreens and get the prescription filled there and pay my $10.00 co-pay.
Does anyone besides me see a problem here?
No wonder the government says we need healthcare reform.

My friend's son is a disabled U.S. Marine from Iraq.
The Marine Corps spent years delaying his discharge to avoid paying him benefits.
They forced him to have an operation which made him worse.
The doctor was a foreigner and idiot who was on contract to the Department of the Navy, that the U.S. Government gave a license to this jackass.
The fact that he was a civilian doctor but contracted to the Navy / Marine Corp made him exempt from lawsuits.
Later this same disabled Marine with continued failing health problems fought the VA (Veteran Administration) for years to get benefits.
They gave him 10%.
He has repeatedly been back over and over for treatments.
Last week they told him his condition had worsened and he will probably be wheelchair bound within 3-years. The kid is 25-years-old.
The doctors have no say in compensation and benefits.
This is done by non-licensed VA bureaucrats with no medical knowledge.
This person has a family with small children and no health insurance.
What the hell. Mr. Obama, where is the government reform?
Where is the campaign promises to honor and take care of our Vets?
Yet some scum bag illegal can go down and get welfare and food stamps.
This country needs to revise itself, gets its priorities in line and go back to its tradition of what made us great. If that takes another revolution so be it!

Socialism Has Arrived:
Now Obama wants to say how much you can earn, he wants to control your salary. I personally don't have a problem with controlling executive pay and compensation on companies the taxpayer has bailed out. But on corporations that are not receiving any taxpayer money who the hell does Obama think he is to say how much money someone can earn? Get Out of the UN Now....
So if you haven't heard, the Secretary General of the United Nations has called the United States 'The Biggest Deadbeat Donor.'
He wants us to pay more money to this useless politically corrupt inept world council of idiots.
Last year, American taxpayers ponied up nearly $5 billion for the UN system. The U.S. is by far the world's largest donor to the UN. The U.S. provides other assistance for peacekeeping operations. The U.S. responds to emergency appeals. We are always on deck.
Yet, the head of the UN comes to Congress and scolds us for not doing enough? He demands yet more money from us while making little progress in cleaning up the badly-broken UN?
The UN's ineffectiveness is not from a lack of cash, but the result of a corrupt system which wastes money and apologizes for dictatorships.
The UN has been hijacked by a rogues' gallery that uses our funds to undermine peace and security. Dictatorships use the Human Rights Council and Durban 2 conference process to restrict universal freedoms and protect extremists. The UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) aids violent Islamist and partners with money-laundering banks under U.S. sanctions or under U.S. investigation for financing Islamist militants. The Truth about You and Social Security
A friend of mine has been retired for the past 11 years.
He is 62.
With the downturn in the economy he has virtually lost all of his money because of the Wall Street greed and corruption.
So being a born U.S. Citizen and paying into social security most of his adult life he decided to get early retirement.
Easy you would think, not so fast my uninformed friends.
Upon a visit to the Social Security Administration Office, he discovered he is not entitled to any benefits because he hasn't paid into the system for the last 10-years.
The system is solely based on you paying into it for the 10-years prior to retirement. In other words what you pay, for example, from the age of 16 through 55 is for others to collect.
What you pay from 55 to 65 is yours, so to speak.
So he called Binder and Binder, those lawyers who advertise on TV that they can get your social security benefits, is a total crock of bull.
What the lawyer told my friend is he is not entitled to any benefits.
The lawyer, gave him a simply explanation.
She said, “Paying into social security is like paying auto insurance premiums. If you stop paying, you can't collect because the policy has lapsed.”
I wasn't aware that it was a policy.
Why the hell isn't the money we pay into the system ours?

I am Back....
Radio Talk Hosts:
People will pay 50 percent of what they make to an Obama tax plan.
That's right. While laying in boredom in the hospital, there is little to do, so I was listening to a radio talk show host discuss President Obama, the stimulus package, and who's going to pay for this debt. The question was, “Would you pay higher taxes under Obama, up to 50 percent of your income?”
The amazing response was yes by many.
The sad thing is several people said they didn't trust the government, but had faith in Obama.
People, we are doing it to ourselves.
We are electing proficient liars who take this country down some primrose path of bullshit and 'Trust Me' attitude.
We have no one to blame, no one whatsoever but ourselves.

America's Outdated Banking System:
First banks want to charge you for having your money in their bank that they use.
Next they give you grief about getting cash out or cashing a check even if it's drawn on their bank.
They all but shove a credit card down your throat and encourage you to take your time in paying it off with their high interest rates.
These same banks make little effort to protect your identity. The latest craze is copying ATM and Credit Card magnetic strips and then using your data to clean out you bank account. Every security expert in the world agrees that magnetic strips are outdated and a serious security risk. Most banks outside the United States have gone to chip implants in their cards (no magnetic strips). The banks in the USA agree with this observation but claim it is too costly to replace the ATM machines that use these same magnetic strips.
And, finally, these same banks want to be bailed out by the consumers they are screwing with our tax dollars.
If you don't think this is a problem you been living in a cave.
An identity is stolen every 3 seconds in the United States.
Now add to the misery, these same banks are in cahoots with credit reporting agencies who want to charge you a fee to get your credit report, and they take their sweat time about fixing issues involving wrongful postings including identity theft.
All these banks and credit card companies half to do is make credit, debit, and ATM cards with a chip; add your picture I.D. and a thumb print on the card. Next you would have to enter the card at the ATM Machine; then enter a pin number, and place your thumb on a specific spot of the glass to verify who you are.

The U.S. Educational System Sucks:
My children are all grown but I have grandchildren.
It frustrates me to know end to see young children burdened with one to two hours of homework.
If these idiot teachers cannot teach the child what they need to know in the 45 to 60 minutes they have them everyday, then get new teachers!
The system is broken, archaic and outdated.
This is why children hate school and rebel against learning.
Children, like adults need a brake to unwind.
If a child cannot get playtime they become agitated and out of control. Then next thing the school system wants to do is send them for counseling and drug them.
Teachers are always complaining they don't get paid enough, and I agree. Maybe if we paid them more we could get good teachers because the vast majority are useless!
What makes the system even worse is the damn teachers unions. When you get a bad teacher you can't get rid of them unless they sleep with a student.
If you don't agree with this I'd like to know why. But ask yourself first why is home schooling on the rose?

American Car Companies Really Suck:
Ok I know we've all heard enough about the bailout of the Big-3 auto makers but I wanna just say, they are worthless lying assholes run by the most incompetent business people I have ever seen.
Here's my story about looking for a New Car:
I am getting old, so I was shopping for a luxury car, probably the last car I will ever own. I did the right thing I started with American made, the Cadillac and the Lincoln Towncar, and I don't mean those piece of junk SUVs, I mean a real luxury 4-door sedan.
Ford has screwed up the design on the Lincoln Towncar so bad only a complete moron would buy a new 2009.
I called the Cadillac and Lincoln dealers and told them I wanted the following in my vehicle:
Remote Start with Keyless Ignition.
Sun/Moon Roof that opens but has a interior slide to eliminate all light.
Voice Activated GPS System (this is the one that talks to you).
Lojack Recovery System.
What I found out is basically forget it.
GM wants you too subscribe to their On-Star System and Ford they are so far out of it they just don't get it.
Add to the fact both American car companies want to charge you for things like white wall tires, moulding and trim package, wheel covers, trunk and floor mats, and whole host of other things that foreign car companies give you as standard on their cars.
Many of the things I wanted are not even available on GM or Ford. For example sun roofs are no longer available on the Lincoln Towncar.
To make things worse, both the Lincoln and Cadillac dealers tried to sell me a used 2008. They wanted to install the items I wanted themselves. Who would let some idiot dealer cut a hole in your car roof and install a non-factory sun roof?
If I wanted a 2008 or a used car, I would have ask for one.
What part of NEW do these putz don't understand?
When I rebelled about a 2008 they tried to push an SUV on me.
Also if you look at the option list they are obsessed with all kinds of stereo crap. Old people don't this bullshit they want comfort. These car companies are seriously out of touch with reality. No wonder they are going bankrupt.
I haven't purchased a vehicle yet but as much as I hate to do it, I will probably will go German Engineering.
Has anyone else experienced this total lack of being in-touch with the consumer's needs and wants?

This stupid TV commercial wants you to donate, as they put it, ONLY $18.00 per month to save an animal.
Get a reality check you morons.
People are having problems feeding their children, holding onto their homes and automobiles, and just plain surviving and you want someone to take their all ready tight budget and give you $18.00 per month?

United States Educational System: It's Broken, here's why:
These idiot educators are still teaching the same damn things in school that I was learning, most of which is useless in today's society.
And, when they need to cut funding what to do they eliminate, Physical Education (Phy Ed). Then everyone wonders why children are overweight, hyper active in school, and develop health problems like heart disease, high blood pressure, etc.
America - you are out of shape. Phy Ed should be mandatory for all school children, at least 3 times per week, starting in Kindergarten through the last year of high school. Phy Ed will solve the overweight out of shape hyper active problems with today's school children. Phy Ed also stimulates the brain by pumping oxygen to needed brain cells. Common sense is out the window with these so-called out of date modern educators.
Add to the simple fact the educational studies are not consistent with the needs to obtain a job in today's complex high tech society.
The things that should be eliminated are:
English Literature (no one ever got a job knowing this bullshit).
Reading Books for English, like poetry, novels, etc. (again, no job here) - substitute other required educational books like science for reading books and you get a double banger. One book serves two different class purposes.
Eliminate Human and Historical studies (no job here either).
Make Geography and U.S. History studied only during the last year of high school. The world changes all the time so this will get you up to date as you enter society.
Stop requiring students to learn dates, times, and places including names of people. These are unimportant. What's important are the relevant facts of the item.
Math and Science must be started at an early age, preferably in Kindergarten.
Unless we change our ways quickly America will continue to fall behind in both technology and in our educational standards in the world ranking.

Telephone Company Lunacy
Every Telephone Company in America wants ridiculous phone rates and cannot understand why they continue to lose business. It doesn't matter whether you get the phone service from your local phone company, cable provider, or a third party, the rates are outrageous.
Lets look at the Facts:
1. Twenty Percent (20%) of all phone lines in the United States are NOT being used. This is caused by an increase in cellphone use.
2. Cell Phone Providers with cellphones can now do everything a telephone company can do with a land line including international calling.
3. Telephone companies are archaic. They still require you to dial '1' on all long distance calls. To my knowledge no cellphone requires this. The number one (1) is the United States Country Code. Every country gets a country code. So the only time the '1' is needed is if you are outside the United States calling into the USA. So why do the phone companies still require it?
4. Telephone Companies say they offer all kinds of things as part of their service plan. But in fact a cellphone can do the same thing and more for less money per month!
5. If you use a telephone land line provided by your local cable company such as Cox, when the cable goes out so does your phone service.
6. If you have a problem with your cellphone you take it to the local store. Most cellphone providers have numerous cellphone store locations throughout the area you live. The telephone company doesn't provide a phone, you have to buy it. They cost as much if not more than a cellphone. If you need service from your local phone company they charge you to come out. If your cellphone fails completely you throw it away and get another one. Worse case you cancel the service and get another provider.
7. Many telephone companies want a deposit for service. I don't know of any cellphone provider that ask for a deposit.
These are just some of the facts that are real. So with decreasing customer base by telephone companies, why are their rates going up, or are so expensive? When my local cable company first got into competing with Quest for phone service, I could get two phones at my house (two separate) lines for less money than one phone line from Quest (the local phone company). Now Cox and Quest are about the same for one line. Then new players come along like Vonage. It's a rip off. Why do I want to pay for long distance with them? I have a cellphone provider that gives me unlimited calls anywhere in the USA.
My son-in-law uses an iChat program that is free called SKYPE. You can two video chat for as long as you want for free through your computer. It works on any type of computer software system. Add to this you can make calls anywhere in the world to a land line or cellphone for a few cents per minute.

Are you aware that the reason grocery stores, local restaurants, and other national chains like Costco, Wal-Mart, etc, throw their food away instead of giving it to the local shelters or people in need is because of the fear of being sued?
Yes that's right lawyers are causing hunger in America.

Are you aware that the reason grocery stores, local restaurants, and other national chains like Costco, Wal-Mart, etc, throw their food away instead of giving it to the local shelters or people in need is because of the fear of being sued?

Life is Funny Sometimes
As you grow older you will realize that life offers many paths.
My father taught me, as I have taught my children, LIFE is like walking through the woods and coming upon a split in the trail. You make a choice, it's not whether you made a good choice or a bad choice, you just made a choice, so live with it and move on.
The moral here is that we choose our own destiny.
We make choices in LIFE, some good, some not so good.
But they are our choices.
As I watch my grandchildren grow up in this hectic chaotic world with more and more government intruding upon our lives, I ponder if my grandchildren will have any choices or will they be forced upon them from a government who thinks they know what's best for us.
Wake up people, our freedoms are slowly being eroded.
We may not be learning from history but our elected political leaders are. They have learned that forcing someone to do something abruptly causes rebellion, Reference World War II, Nazi Germany. The world rebelled and Hitler was defeated. Governments have learned that slowly eroding freedoms are acceptable if an explanation is given.

Bernard L. Madoff and the 50 Billion Dollar Wall Street Scam
The idiots continue to debate whether or not this con artist should be in jail or remain in his seven million dollar New York Penthouse Apartment drinking his champagne, and eating caviar and lobster.
Personally, I think neither is suitable for this asshole. Since an immediate execution is blocked by a useless judicial system, I propose that all his assets be seized and sold off at once, and he be placed in an apartment in the 'Projects.' This is subsidized housing for poor people. This is a better lesson and he would learn what it's like to be poor, if he lives long enough... LOL to myself now !!!

Light Rail, Public Transportation Systems
Phoenix Arizona just got it's first public Light Rail Train System.
It will prove to be useless.
Why do these idiots always build these damn things downtown?
In every city, transportation planners and politicians approve a system that doesn't do one thing to solve the traffic congestion problem.
Look you idiots, the city all ready has a public bus line that gets you around the downtown, if you need to use it.
The traffic, people, TRAFFIC is in the outlining areas, it's called suburbia.
In other words you have spent taxpayer money on something that is totally useless and is a duplicate of the all ready existing public bus transportation system.
You should have built the Light Rail System so it either parallels or is overhead of the five all ready heavily congested highway systems in the Phoenix Valley. This way commuters would look at the Light Rail and realize it is passing them by while they are sitting in traffic. However, planning would also require you morons to realize it must go where people work.
Whoever devised this LRT and calls himself a transportation planner is a con artist and scammer. Does this shithead get a salary? I bet he gets a big one!
Fire his stupid ass, look at something like the Toronto Canada or Singapore Transpiration Systems, or at best follow the Chicago and New York City Commuter Systems.
The magic word being 'Commuter.'
